A Moment in Time

As my journey of discovery in Jamaica comes to a pause, though not an end, I reflect on the goodness of the Lord and all He has done in my life since I ventured into the unknown. My journey began like the serene sea before me, with its beautiful shades of blue and the rhythmic dance of waves rushing to the shore and retreating into the vast ocean.
Our lives are like the sea. There are times when everything is calm, when life is smooth sailing, and our prayers have been answered. In these moments, we are all smiles, but we must remember to keep our minds on the Lord, for He will keep us in perfect peace.
However, just as the forecast warns us of an impending storm, life’s storms can come upon us suddenly, without warning, leaving us adrift in the vast sea of uncertainty. But the Lord teaches us to speak to these storms and declare, “Be still in Jesus’ name.” We must hold on, ride the waves, and keep our focus straight ahead on the Lord, knowing that He will soon bring us out of the storm.
Discovering my journey in Jamaica has been a rewarding time in the Lord. Despite the questions of what, how, why, and the unknown moments, God has been right there with me.
I have found peace, joy, and love as I prepare for His divine purpose in my life.
Thank you, Lord. I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.
To those reading this blog, follow your heart. If God places a calling in your soul that won’t leave you alone, trust Him. Ask for wisdom to pursue it or for the right person to help you. I can testify to the goodness of the Lord, my keeper. I love you, Lord.
Goodbye, for now, Jamaica… until we meet again soon.
